Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Who we are

Recommendle (recommendle.co.uk) is a small, independently-run music recommendation site. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site is

We publish one song and one album per day, chosen by the site's editor. We embed previews and link out to streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. We are not affiliated with those services, the artists, or the labels.

Acceptable use

  • Don't try to break, overload, or probe the site for vulnerabilities.
  • Don't scrape the site at scale or repackage the picks as your own product.
  • Don't use the site to do anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The site's design, written commentary, and original text are © Recommendle. Album artwork, song titles, artist names, and audio previews are the property of the rights holders and are shown for editorial and review purposes. If you are a rights holder and want something removed, email hello@recommendle.co.uk and we'll act promptly.

Third-party links and embeds

Links to Spotify, Apple Music and similar services are provided for convenience. We're not responsible for what happens on those sites — their own terms apply once you click through or press play.

Advertising

We may display third-party adverts. We don't endorse the advertisers and we're not responsible for the products they sell. If an advert misleads you or breaks the law, please tell us so we can block it.

No warranties

The site is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that any recommendation is right for you. Music taste is personal.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Recommendle is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
